Removal

1 Unscrew locking cage (113) and pull out of the transmission housing.

2 Block the manual transmission by shifting together second and reverse gear.

3 Loosen nut using  socket and remove.

4  Mount puller and remove drive flange.

Attaching

5 Insert flange, tighten and secure nut.

 In the event of an unfavorable tolerance situation of the splines, the flange should be heated to 170°C and made to abut with the nut. Tighten after cooling down.

6 Insert locking cage (113) with a new seal in the transmission housing so that one ball points downwards towards the collar nut.

7 Insert and tighten bolts.
