1 | Clamp respective main shaft in vise to remove upper bearing (1). |
Use suitable protective jaws. |
2 | Remove center bolt (2) and dispose of it. |
Remove center bolt (2) clockwise (left-hand thread). |
3 | Remove upper bearing (1). |
To do so, heat up upper bearing (1) and use collet and puller. |
4 | Remove main shaft from vise and clamp in again turned to remove the lower bearing (4). |
Use suitable protective jaws. |
5 | Remove lower bearing (4). |
To do so, heat up lower bearing (4) and use collet and puller. |
6 | Remove main shaft from vise. |
