1 Press in grooved ball bearing (43a) using a suitable drift.

2 Install retaining ring (43b) of grooved ball bearing (43a) of the main shaft.

3 Press bearing race of roller sleeve into the intermediate plate using a suitable drift.

4 Insert roller sleeve (43c) in bearing race (43d).

5 Press reverse idler shaft (46) with reverse idler gear (48) in the intermediate plate and tighten with bolt.

6 Install bearing pin (70), leaf spring (71), bushing and locking lever (75) together in the intermediate plate and tighten hexagon nut (74).

7 Hammer in cover (78) flush with intermediate plate. Replace O-ring for sealing the shift lever.

8 Insert gearshift lever (79) for 5th and reverse gear in the intermediate plate so that the sinus splines of the gearshift lever (76) and (79) mesh with one another.
9 Remove grease from Allen head bolt, coat with sealant and tighten.
