1 Unscrew and remove shift lever (79) for 5th and reverse gear from inner shift lever (76).

2 Press off O-ring cover (78).

3 Unscrew hexagon nut (74) and remove bearing pin (70), leaf spring (71), bearing bush and shift lever (75) from intermediate plate together.

4 Press off reverse shaft (46) with sliding reverse gear (48) out of intermediate plate.
Check for wear.

5 Hammer main shaft/countershaft outer bearing races out of intermediate plate using a suitable drift punch.
