Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove front propeller shaft.

Remove electrical connector (1) from bracket.

Disconnect electrical connector (1).

Unscrew backup light switch (2).

Remove old screw locking adhesive from thread of backup light switch (2).

If backup light switch (2) is to be reused.

Loctite 7063 (400 ml) cleaning spray

Remove old screw locking adhesive from thread of installation opening of backup light switch (2) in transmission.

Loctite 7063 (400 ml) cleaning spray

Install

Apply screw locking adhesive to thread of backup light switch (2).

Screw in backup light switch (2).

Connect electrical connector (1).

Mount electrical connector (1) onto holder.
