Move gear position to N (neutral)

Step 2

 	Remove/install
1	Move gearshift lever to N (neutral)
2	Move gear position (B43) to N (neutral)
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04FF
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
3	Remove paneling on center piece in front of the windshield		AR88.00-P-2792FF
4	Remove transmission bearing (1) to the side		AR26.10-P-0032FF
5	Unplug electrical connector (5) from gear position (B43)	 Installation: Ensure that the electrical connector (5) is properly engaged.
6	Unscrew bolts (6) from gear position (B43)	 Installation: Turn in both bolts (6) by hand first and then tighten.

7	Take out gear position (B43)	 Installation: Fit gear position (B43) on transmission housing by hand in order to avoid damaging the drivers of the gear position (B43).
		 Installation: Replace sealing ring. The drivers of the gear position (B43) must be positioned accordingly (arrow). To facilitate assembly, screw suitable guide bolts into the transmission. Push the gear position (B43) carefully over the guide bolts.
8	Install in the reverse order
9	Teach in gear position (B43), clutch motor with drag point and shift actuator
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04FF
		STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system	*WH58.30-Z-1048-13A
