1 | Remove filling screw (1) | ||
2 | Remove drain screw (2) and drain off gear oil | Only change the transmission oil when the transmission is at operating temperature. | |
Drain gear oil completely and collect in a suitable container. | |||
Fill | |||
3 | Replace sealing ring on drain screw (2) | ||
4 | Tighten drain plug (2) | Drain screw to transmission | |
5 | Add gear oil up to lower edge of hole on filling screw (1) | Gear oil | |
6 | Screw in new filling screw (1) securely | | |
| Clean | ||
7 | Thoroughly clean area surrounding filling screw (1) and drain screw (2) | ||
| Check | ||
8 | Perform a test drive and check transmission for leaktightness |
