Danger | Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. | Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. | |
1 | Raise vehicle with vehicle lift | ||
2 | Clean area surrounding the oil filler screw (1) on the transmission (2) and unscrew the oil filler screw (1) | Collect transmission oil which runs out in a suitable container. | |
3 | Unscrew oil drain screw (3) on transmission (2) and drain transmission oil | Drain transmission oil when transmission (2) at operating temperature only. Collect transmission oil in suitable container. Allow transmission oil to drain completely. | |

4 | Screw oil drain screw (3) into transmission (2) | Model 451.391/491 with engine 780.009 | |
5 | Pour in oil until it reaches lower edge of filler opening | ||
