 Caution

Risk of poisoning from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury from skin and eye contact with brake fluid

Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Remove/install

Extract brake fluid from brake fluid reservoir (2).

 Commercially available devices/tools
Extraction bellows

Detach feed line (1) of clutch master cylinder (3) from brake fluid reservoir (2).


The feed line (1) must not be disconnected using clamping devices or pliers.
Otherwise damage may occur.

 Plug openings.

 Installation: Inspect sealing of feed line (1), and, if necessary, replace.

 Record plug

Remove pedal bracket for clutch pedal.

 The feed line (1) must be accessible.

Detach feed line (1) from clutch master cylinder (3).

 Collect escaping brake fluid, seal openings.

 Installation: Inspect sealing of feed line (1), and, if necessary, replace.

 Record plug

Remove feed line (1) toward engine compartment.

 Installation: Ensure correct installation position.

Install in the reverse order.

Bleed clutch operating system.
