Remove/Install

Danger!

Risk of poisoning from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury from brake fluid coming into contact with skin and eyes.

Pour brake fluid only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.

Avoid any fouling resulting from discharged brake fluid!

Seal openings to prevent brake fluid from being discharged

Remove left cover below instrument panel

 With right-hand drive vehicles, remove left and right cover below instrument panel.

Detach clamp (1) from reservoir (3).

 Installation: Install new clamp (1).

Detach supply line (2) from reservoir (3)



Detach clamp (4) from master cylinder (5)

 Installation: Install new clamp (4).

Detach supply line (2) from master cylinder (5)

Remove supply line (2)

 When installing new supply line (2), fasten new supply line to old line using friction tape.

Install in the reverse order



Inspect

Check condition of lines and dust boots

 Replace, if necessary.
