Secure axle-engine subframe and components to the removal device with a suitable tensioning strap. (See illustration)

2 | Remove air cleaner housing (10) | It is not necessary to remove hot film mass air flow sensor (B39) at the air cleaner housing (10). | |
3 | Detach vacuum line at vacuum pump (11) | ||
4 | Remove engine designer trim panel | ||
5 | Remove air cleaner cross pipe (12) | ||
6 | Unscrew clamp (14) and charge air hose (13) and detach charge air hose (13) from mixing housing (15) | Place charge air hose (13) to the side. | |

7 | Attach mounting device to axle-engine subframe | Align all supporting points. Secure axle-engine subframe and components to the removal device with a suitable tensioning strap. | |

8 | Unscrew bolt (49) of top engine support (44) at right supporting plate (39) | | |
9 | Remove bolts (45) of top engine support (44) at cylinder head and take out top engine support (44) | | |

11 | Unscrew bolts (50) at right supporting plate (39) | Lift right supporting plate (39) up and out. | |

12 | Unscrew bolt (51) at left engine support (52) | | |
13 | Unbolt left engine support (52) at longitudinal member and remove left engine support (52) | | |
14 | Install in the reverse order |
