Remove, Install

Disconnecting and connecting ground cable on battery



Installation:

code radio, set clock and

and auxiliary heater as necessary.

Remove air cleaner (1)

Remove viscous fan (2)

 Right-hand thread!

Detach return flow line (3) of power steering pump

 Seal connections.



Unbolt shield (4) at frame

Unbolt shield (5) at frame



Do not pull apart the two halves of the shield (5).



Detach cable of left O2 sensor at shield.

Unscrew bolts (8) on right and left of frame



Unbolt bracket (6) of ATF lines (7) at bottom and top part of oil pan

Raise engine at front lifting eye

 When lifting and lowering the engine, ensure that:

- The heat shields (4, 5) are not trapped.

- No lines or cables are stretched.

- The engine and its attached parts do not rest on the bodywork.

Remove shroud (4)



Only necessary if the right engine mount is removed.

Push engine to one side if necessary.

Unscrew engine mount (9) from engine support



Remove engine mount (9)

Install in the reverse order

Read out and erase DTC memory using Hand-Held Tester (HHT)
