1 | Disconnect ground cable at battery | Installation: -Encode radio. | |
2 | Remove upper cross member | ||
3 | Pull radiator (1) forward (in direction of travel) | ||
4 | Unlock rupture disc (5) and nut (6) and unscrew nut (6) or, if necessary, remove the locking washer.(4) ausbauen | Installation: secure nut (6) with locking plate (5); inspect locking washer (4) to ensure it is correctly located in the slot. | |
Installation: replace locking plate (5) or locking washer (4), respectively. | |||
5 | Release the fan wheel (3) and pull it up and out | Assembly: Pay attention to the correct seating of the propeller shaft drive lug of the fan motor (M34) in the fan wheel (3). | |
6 | Loosen the plug-in connection (M34.3) and push the plug terminal (arrow) outside the radiator (1) | ||
7 | Remove the fastening clip (arrow) in the pillar and withdraw the cable from its fastening rib | Assembly: Pay attention to the cable laying, if appropriate include the cable in the fastening in the pillar. | |
8 | Unscrew the nuts (2) from the fan motor (M34) and draw the fan motor (M34) upwards, together with its cable | ||
9 | Assembly in reverse order |
