| Remove/Install | ||
1 | Remove clips (1) and dismantle air ducting (2) | ||
2 | Unclip clip (3) using appropriate tool and separate coolant fan engine connector (M4/2x1) | ||
3 | Disconnect wiring harness (4) at the fan shroud (5). | ||
4 | Unscrew fan shroud bolts (5) at radiator | The fan shroud (5) is fixed to the radiator using two bolts. | |
5 | Suspend fan shroud (5) by raising and pull out from below | ||
6.1 | Remove coolant fan motor (M4/2) | Only when replacing fan shroud(5). | |
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
Danger! | Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns when working in engine during starting procedure | Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving. | |
8 | Carry out engine test run | when coolant fan motor is switched on (M4/2). |
