Remove left and right headlamp trim

Remove bolt (1)

Unclip hose of the washer system at radiator trim (2) and remove radiator trim (2)

Unclip cable for hood opening on radiator crossmember (3)

Remove screw/bolts (4) at radiator crossmember (3)

 Screw/bolt, front crossmember (top) to wheel well

Pry off radiator crossmember (3) and unclip coolant hose on radiator crossmember (3)

Remove radiator crossmember (3)

Unclip coolant hose from fan unit (5)

Remove screw/bolt (6)

 Counterhold nut.
Press foam rubber into the area of the screw/bolt somewhat to the side.

Disconnect electrical connection at electrical plug connection (8)

Detach retaining clamps (7) of fan unit (5)

Remove fan unit (5) upwards

Install in the reverse order

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Perform an engine test run and check engine cooling system for proper operation
