Remove/install

Drain off coolant.

Remove oil feed line (2) from exhaust gas turbocharger (3).

 Installation: Do not install engine cover until after the leak test.

Unclip vent hose (4) from air intake line.

Unclip electric lines (5) from holder (6).

Release clamp (7).

Detach coolant hose (8) from upper coolant line feed line (1).

Remove upper coolant line feed line (1) and holder (6) from high pressure exhaust gas recirculation valve.

 Bolt, coolant line to high pressure exhaust gas recirculation valve

Unscrew screws (10) and remove upper coolant line feed line (1).

 Installation: Install new sealing rings.

Clean sealing surfaces with a lint-free rag.

Seal openings with suitable stop plug.

 Record plug

Remove exhaust gas turbocharger (3).

To remove the lower coolant line feed line (11).

Unscrew screw for lower coolant line feed line (11) on holder for exhaust gas turbocharger.

Remove screws (12).

Remove lower coolant line feed line (11) from cylinder head.

 Installation: Replace seal.

Clean sealing surfaces with a lint-free rag.

Seal openings with suitable stop plug.

Install in the reverse order.

Check and correct engine oil level.


