Remove/install

Remove transmitter key and mains plug

Drain off coolant

Remove front axle carrier support

Loosen hose clamp (2) and detach coolant hose (3)

 Collect escaping coolant in a suitable container.

 Installation: Check hose clamp (2) and coolant hose (3) for damage; replace if necessary.

Remove electrical fuse (4) and disconnect electrical connection (5)

Loosen hose clamp (7)

 Installation: Check hose clamp (7) for damage; replace if necessary.

Disconnect electrical connection (9)

Unscrew nuts (1)

 Nut, bracket for high-voltage battery circuit heater to body

Detach high-voltage battery heater (R101) with bracket (8) to the rear from coolant hose (6) and take off

 Installation: Check coolant hose (6) for damage; replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order

Check cooling system for leaktightness
