Detach starter wiring harness (1) on crankcase

 Bolt, starter wiring harness to oil pan/crankcase/cylinder head/firewall

Unclip starter wiring harness (1) on transmission

Remove screw/bolts (2) and remove cover panel (3)

Remove bolts (4)

 Bolt, starter to crankcase and transmission

Detach starter wiring harness (1) and electrical line (5) on starter (6)

 Nut, connection for terminal designation 50

 Nut, connection for terminal designation 30

*BA15.30-P-1004-01T

Remove starter (6) downward

Check ring gear on drive plate for damage

When installing a new starter (6).

 Rotate engine at center Bolt, crankshaft in the direction of engine rotation.

If damage is present



Replace drive plate
