Disconnect engine wiring harness

1 Disconnect ground lead from battery

2 Unplug connectors at the injectors (1)

3 Unplug connector at camshaft position sensor (3)

4 Unplug plug at rail pressure sensor (7) and at rail pressure control valve (5)

5 Unplug plug at fuel temperature sensor (4).

6 Unplug connectors at glow plugs (2).

7 Unplug connector at crankcase ventilation heating element (6).

Disconnect, connect engine wiring harness at engine side

8 Unplug connector at high pressure pump (9)

9 Unplug connector at electric shutoff valve (8)

10 Unplug plug at engine oil level sensor (14).

11 Unplug connector at crankshaft position sensor (11)

12 Unplug plug at coolant temperature sensor (10)

13 Unplug connector at fuel pressure sensor (12).

14 Disconnect cable (tml 50) at starter (13).

15 Separate plug connection at refrigerant compressor.

16 Connect in opposite order.
