Remove/install

Remove upper engine cover.

 Installation: Do not install the upper engine cover until an engine test run has been performed.

Remove right air filter housing.

Remove engine air intake duct downstream of air filter.

Remove right upper engine cover.

Remove engine damping of right cylinder head cover.

Release electrical connector(1) and disconnect.

Remove screw/bolt (2).

 Camshaft position sensor to cylinder head cover

Remove camshaft Hall sensor (B6/1) and seal opening with suitable stop plug.

 Installation: Replace sealing ring.

 Record plug

Install in the reverse order.

Read out and delete fault memory.


