Pour AdBlue into suitable containers only. Wait until the pressure is released before starting any work on the exhaust aftertreatment system.

Remove/install

Remove the AdBlue® tank (1)

Disconnect electrical connections (2, 3, 4)

Remove screw/bolt/bolts (5)

 Bolt, pump module to delivery module

Detach AdBlue® delivery pump (M89)

Detach sealing ring (6) and spacer sleeve (7) at AdBlue® delivery pump (M89) or remove on cover (8)

 Installation: Remove sealing ring (6) and spacer sleeve (7).

Clean connection immediately and close off with clean stop plugs

Install in the reverse order

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Perform engine test run and check connections on AdBlue® injection valve (M89) for leaktightness
