Remove/install

Remove air intake line upstream of exhaust gas turbocharger (3).

 Installation: Only install upper engine cover after the leak test.

Release and disconnect the electrical connector (2).

Remove low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation temperature sensor (1).

 Temperature sensor to low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation valve

Seal opening with suitable stop plug.

 Record plug

Install in the reverse order.

Read out and clear fault memory with diagnostic device.

If a new low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation temperature sensor (1) was installed.



Perform engine test run and check engine in the area of the low-pressure exhaust gas recirculation temperature sensor (1) for leak tightness.
