1 Exhaust gas recirculation positioner
2 Cable tie
5 Bolt
6 Mixing chamber
3 Wiring harness
4 Vacuum hose
| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove interior flap above engine | ||
2 | Cut through cable ties (2) and expose electrical wiring harness (3) | ||
3 | Pull off vacuum hose (4) on exhaust gas recirculation positioner (1) | ||
4 | Remove bolts (5) | | |
5 | Detach exhaust gas recirculation positioner (1) from mixing chamber (6) and take off | Installation: Replace sealing ring on exhaust gas recirculation positioner (1). | |
6 | Install in the reverse order | ||

7 | Conduct engine test run and check leaktightness in the area of the exhaust gas recirculation positioner (1) |
