2 Nut
G2/1 Alternator
3 Clamp nut
4 Mounting screw
| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove underride guard | ||
2 | Loosen mounting screw (4) | ||
3 | Loosen nut (2) and clamp nut (3) | ||
4 | Tilt alternator 24 V (G2/1) towards engine | ||
5 | Remove V-belts (1) | ||
6 | Inspect V-belt (1) and V-belt pulley | ||
| Check condition of V-belt | ||
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Tension V-belt (1) | Do not continue to retension the new V-belt (1) following tensioning procedure. | |
