Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove air filter housing

Remove engine air intake duct downstream of air filter

Remove charge air hose upstream of charge air cooler on engine charge air duct (1)

Loosen screw/bolt (2)

Remove screw/bolt (3)

Remove screw/bolts (4)

Remove engine charge air duct (1)

Check sealing ring (5) for damage and inspect and, if necessary, replace

 Installation: Wet sealing ring (5) before attaching to the engine charge air duct (1) with lubricant.
