Remove/install

Remove air intake pipe.

Release electrical connector(1) and disconnect.

Unhook electric line from the retaining clamp (2).


Do not crush or kink electric line or subject it to tension.
This will result in damage to the electric line and may impair its function.

Remove charge air temperature sensor downstream of the throttle valve (B17/16) and seal exposed openings with suitable stop plugs.
