Remove/install

Remove interior flap above engine

Expose brake booster vacuum line (1) in the area of the charge pressure sensor (B5/1)

Remove coolant compressor poly-V belt

On vehicles with code (I01) Air conditioning Plus

Detach refrigerant compressor and place down to front

On vehicles with code (I01) Air conditioning Plus

Disconnect electrical connector (2) from charge pressure sensor (B5/1)

Unscrew nuts (3)

Remove charge pressure sensor (B5/1) until the clamp (4) on the hose (5) is accessible

Detach clamp (4), pull off hose (5) and remove charge pressure sensor (B5/1)

 Installation: Replace clamp (4) on hose (5).

Install in the reverse order

Read out and erase fault memory

When replacing the charge pressure sensor (B5/1).



Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
