1 Screw clamps
2 Charge air hose
B17/8 Charge air temperature sensor
3 Charge air cooler
4 Electrical connector
| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove interior flap above engine | ||
2 | Loosen hose clamps (1) and remove charge air hose (2) | ||
3 | Unlock charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) and remove from charge air cooler (3) | ||
4 | Disconnect electrical connector (4) and remove charge air temperature sensor (B17/8) | ||
5 | Install in the reverse order | ||
6 | Read out and erase fault memory | When replacing charge air temperature sensor (B17/8). | |
| Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory |
