Open engine hood

Disconnect electrical connection (2) on throttle valve actuator (M16/40) and place to one side

Installation: Fasten electrical connection (2) correctly onto retaining clip (3).

Detach charge air hose (4) at throttle valve actuator (M16/40)

Remove screw/bolt/bolts (5)

Screw/bolt, throttle valve actuator to charge air line

Remove throttle valve actuator (M16/40)

Installation: Check seal for throttle valve actuator (M16/40) and replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order

Attach diagnostic system and teach-in throttle valve actuator (M16/40)

If replacing throttle valve actuator (M16/40)
