| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove engine cover | Ensure correct seating. | |
2 | Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter | ||
3 | Detach vent hose for crankcase ventilation system (2) at cylinder head cover | ||
4 | Disconnect electrical connection (3) at hot film MAF sensor | ||
5 | Disconnect electrical connection (4) at pressure sensor downstream of air filter | ||
6 | Disconnect electrical connection (5) at vent line heater element. | ||
7 | Disconnect electrical connection (6) at low-pressure turbocharger boost pressure sensor | ||
8 | Detach vacuum line (7) at aneroid capsule (9) and unhook on engine air intake duct downstream of air filter (8) | ||
9 | Release clamps (10, 11) and detach engine air intake duct downstream of air filter (8) | Installation: | |
Installation: Check clamps (10, 11) for damage. | |||
10 | Install in the reverse order |
