Remove

 Remove ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) from air filter housing (1) and place to one side with connected lines.

Remove air intake pipe (2).

Open locking clips (7).

Release and disconnect electrical connector (4).

Unclip line clip (arrow A) at air filter housing (1).

Unclip bracket of wiring harness (5).

Remove screw (6).

 Screw, air filter housing to charge air distributor

Remove air filter housing (1).

 Installation: Wet elastomer bearings with lubricant.

Lubricant, rubber assembly 1 l

Remove pressure sensor downstream of air filter (B28/11).

Where replacing air filter housing (1).

Check

Check elastomer bearing for wear and damage and replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order.
