Remove/install

Open engine hood and raise to vertical position

Remove front RH right wheel well paneling

Remove screw/bolt (3)

Unscrew nut (5) and detach water drain (4) from wheel well paneling

Disconnect electrical connector at hot film mass air flow sensor (B2/5)

Disconnect electrical line at intake air temperature sensor (B17)

Detach engine intake air hose (2) from hot film MAF sensor (B2/5)

Installation: Check clamp for correct seating and damage; replace if necessary.

Remove screw/bolts (7)

Remove air filter housing (1) with water drain (4) upwards

Installation: Check seal between air filter housing (1) and air intake snorkel for correct seating and damage; replace if necessary.

Installation: Ensure correct routing of the hose between the air filter housing (1) and water drain (4).

Install in the reverse order
