Remove/install

Release clip (6).

 Installation: Check clamp (6) for damage.

 Clamp, air intake pipe to hot film mass air flow sensor

Depending on the findings,



Replace damaged clamp (6).

Disconnect electrical connections (12).

Remove electrical wiring harness (3) from the air intake pipe (1).

 Installation: Replace required cable ties.

Remove air intake pipe (1) from the hot film mass air flow sensor (7).

Release clamp (5).

 Installation: Check the clamp (5) for damage.

 Clamp, air intake pipe to air intake pipe

Depending on the findings,



Replace the damaged clamp (5).

Remove air intake pipe (1).

 Installation: Check seals.

Depending on the findings,



Replace seals.

7

Install in the reverse order.



 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
