Attach/detach engine support fixture

 Attach adaptation plates (1) to  engine hoist (2).

Attach  adapter (3) to  adaptation plates (1).

 Attach engine hoist (4) to the  engine hoist (2).

 Observe marking and installation position of  engine hoist (4).

Adapt previously assembled  engine hoist (2) with the  adapters (3) and  engine hoist (4) to the vehicle and position on the suspension strut supports and longitudinal members.

 Observe the manufacturer's assembly specifications and safety information.
Otherwise, the vehicle may be damaged.

 Aid of helper required.

 Adjust engine hoist (2), align horizontally, and tighten threaded connections.

Attach shackle (5) and shackle (6) to the eyelet of the major assembly carrier.

 There is only one shackle (5, 6) in the package contents of the  engine hoist (2).

Tighten tensioning screw and tension  engine hoist (2).

 Do not subject bearings of the major assembly carrier to tension.
Otherwise, damage to the bearing of the major assembly carrier will occur.

Remove in the reverse order.
