1 | Remove charge air manifold (1) | ||
2 | Disconnect electrical connection to charge air temperature sensor(B17/8) and to pressure sensor upstream of throttle valve (B28/6) | ||
3 | Disconnect electrical connection to throttle valve actuator (M16/6) | ||
4 | Unclip electrical line (4) on throttle valve actuator (M16/6) | ||
5 | Unscrew screw/bolts (5) for charge air cooler (2) on charge air manifold (1) | | |
6 | Loosen clamp (6) for charge air manifold (1) on throttle valve actuator (M16/6) | ||
7 | Remove charge air cooler (2) and throttle valve actuator (M16/6) on charge air manifold (1) | ||
8 | Unclip electrical line (3) on throttle valve actuator (M16/6) | ||
9 | Remove screw/bolts (7) on throttle valve actuator (M16/6) | | |
10 | Detach throttle valve actuator (M16/6) from charge air cooler (2) | Installation: Ensure correct seating of the seal between throttle valve actuator (M16/6) and charge air cooler (2) | |
11 | Remove seal (8) for throttle valve actuator (M16/6) on charge air cooler (2) | Installation: Install new seal (8). Hook seal (8) onto charge air cooler (2). | |
12 | Install in the reverse order | ||
13 | Read out and erase the fault memory using Star Diagnosis |
