| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove upper engine cover. | ||

2 | Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter. | ||
3 | Release and disconnect the electrical connector (2). | ||
4 | Remove screws (3) and remove boost pressure regulator (Y77/1) until the vacuum hoses (1) are accessible. | Screw, boost pressure control pressure transducer to holder | |
5 | Mark vacuum hoses (1) relative to the respective connection. | ||
6 | Detach vacuum hoses (1) from the boost pressure regulator (Y77/1) and remove boost pressure regulator (Y77/1). | Installation: Observe markings of the vacuum hoses (1). | |
7 | Remove damping from the boost pressure regulator (Y77/1). | ||
8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
9 | Read out and delete fault memory. | ||
