2 | Disconnect ground line from on-board electrical system battery. |

3 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (1, 2). | ||
4 | Release retaining clamps (3) and take out ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) | ||
5 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
6 | Connect vehicle diagnosis system, read out fault memory and clear if necessary. | ||
