Remove/install

Remove engine cover.

 Installation: Only install engine cover after the leak test.

Remove screw/bolt (2).

 Bolt, position sensor of camshaft to cylinder head cover

Remove camshaft position sensor (1) from the cylinder head cover (3) until the electrical connector (4) can be disconnected.

Disconnect electrical connector (4) and remove camshaft position sensor (1).

 Installation: Replace sealing ring (5).

Install in the reverse order



Check

Read out and delete fault memory.



Perform engine test run and check cylinder head cover (3) in the area of the camshaft position sensor (1) for leak tightness.
