1 | Remove the underfloor paneling on the right. |

4 | Remove electrical wiring harness (2). | To do so, unhook electrical wiring harness (2) and remove cable ties. | |
Installation: Replace cable tie. | |||
5 | Remove control unit (3). | ||

6 | Remove soot particulate sensor (4) with control unit (3). | ||

Installation: Apply some heat-resistant lubricating paste to the thread of the soot particulate sensor (3) to be reused. | |||

7 | Clean sealing surfaces and thread for the soot particulate sensor (4) on SCR catalytic converter. | ||
8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
9 | Read out the fault memory using the diagnostic unit. | If a new soot particulate sensor (4) was installed. | |
