1 | Remove charge air cooler. | ||
Installation: Only install engine compartment paneling below after leak test. | |||
2 | Disconnect ground line from battery. | ||

4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (2). | ||
5 | Remove fuel temperature sensor (1). | ||

Use rags to catch escaping fuel. | |||

6 | Seal opening with suitable stop plug. | Record plug | |
7 | Check sealing ring at fuel temperature sensor (1) for damage. | If damage is identified: | |

Replace fuel temperature sensor (1). | |||
8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
9 | Read out and delete fault memory. | ||
