Remove/install

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).

Release and disconnect electrical connector (1) from DPF differential pressure sensor (B28/8).

Release clamps of hoses (2) of DPF differential pressure sensor (B28/8) at steel lines of diesel particulate filter.


Release clamps of hoses (2) at steel lines of diesel particulate filter.
The release of the clamps at the installed DPF differential pressure sensor (B28/8) results in hairline cracks and thus in function restrictions.

Remove hoses (2) from steel lines of diesel particulate filter.

Remove screw (3) and remove DPF differential pressure sensor (B28/8).

Remove hoses (2) from DPF differential pressure sensor (B28/8).

When replacing hoses (2).

Install in the reverse order.

Connect vehicle diagnosis system, read out fault memory and clear if necessary.


