| Remove/install | ||
1 | Remove heat shield (2). | Installation: Only install heat shield (2) after the leak test. | |
2 | Expose, release and disconnect electrical connector of temperature sensor upstream of exhaust gas turbocharger (B16/11x1). | Installation: Replace cable tie. | |
3 | Remove nut (1) and pull temperature sensor upstream of exhaust gas turbocharger (B16/11) out of exhaust manifold. | Observe assembly position for temperature sensor upstream of ATL (B16/11). | |
Installation: Coat thread with heat-resistant lubricant. | |||

4 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
