Remove/install

Remove the oil separator.

Remove leak oil line at injector of cylinder 4.

Remove screw/bolt (1).

Remove hose (2).

Remove protective sleeve (3).

Counterhold fitting at high-pressure pump and remove high-pressure line (4).


Ensure utmost cleanliness.
Leaks and damage nay occur otherwise.

 Installation:
Always replace high-pressure lines (4); do not crush or bend.
Leaks can occur otherwise.

 Close off connections at the rail and the high-pressure pump. Grommets are available as an replacement part of the fuel injection system; see EPC Group 07.

Install in the reverse order.



 Warning

Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.
