1 | Remove air filter housing | ||
2 | Release fuel pressure via service valve (1/1) | Allow escaping fuel to drain into a suitable container. | |

3 | Detach feed line (17/2) | Allow escaping fuel to drain into a suitable container. | |

4 | Separate electrical connectors of fuel injectors (Y62) | ||
5 | Remove the top part of the charge air distributor | ||
6 | Unscrew bolts (17/1) | | |
7 | Detach the fuel distributor (17) with the fuel injection valves (Y62) at the compressor | Installation: Oil the O-rings of the fuel injection valves (Y62). | |

8 | Check fuel injection valves (Y62) with STAR DIAGNOSIS | STAR DIAGNOSIS diagnosis system | |
f necessary after checking: | |||
Remove/install fuel injection valves (motor electronics). | |||
9 | Install in the reverse order |
