2 | Remove valve tappet (3) | Do not pull out valve tappet (3) with a magnet | |
Installation: Do not mix up the valve tappets (3). | |||
3 | Remove spark plugs | | |
4 | Screw pressure hose (2) into the spark plug locator | Only if the work is carried out when the cylinder head is installed. Apply a constant, minimum pressure of 6 bar to the combustion chamber. | |

9 | Remove valve stem seals (7) | Installation: Impregnate valve stem seals (7) with oil and install using an alignment tool. | |
