1 Remove camshaft bearing
caps (E11, E3, E4, E6, A1, A3, A4, A6)

 Installation: Observe identification of camshaft bearing caps (E1, E3, E4, E6, A1, A3, A4, A6).
Camshaft bearing caps (E1, E3, E4, E6, A1, A3, A4, A6) are asymmetrical, ensure that they are mounted custom-fit.

2 Slacken bolts of camshaft bearing caps ( E5, E2, A2, A5) in steps each of one turn until the backpressure is eliminated.

 The camshafts must not tilt when slackening the camshaft bearing caps (E2, E5, A2, A5), because the camshafts are very sensitive to fracture.

3 Remove camshaft bearing caps (E2, E5, A2, A5).

 Installation: Observe identification of camshaft bearing caps (E2, E5, A2, A5).
Camshaft bearing caps (E2, E5, A2, A5) are asymmetrical, ensure that they are mounted custom-fit.

4 Install in the reverse order.
