Remove/install

Remove SCR catalytic converter diesel particulate filter unit.

Remove cap (3) upwards.

To do this, remove screws (2).

Installation: Install new cap (3).

Screw, chain tensioner housing cover to crankcase and timing case

Remove chain tensioner (1).

Collect escaping engine oil with absorbent rag.

Installation: Replace compression ring (4).

Chain tensioner to timing case

Install in the reverse order.

Check

Check and correct engine oil level.
