Remove/install

Remove the diesel particulate filter and place to one side.

Unscrew screws (5) and remove cover (4).

 Installation: Replace sealing ring (3).

 Housing cover for chain tensioner to crankcase/timing case cover

Remove the chain tensioner (1) and collect escaping engine oil using a rag.

 Installation: Replace sealing ring (2).

 Chain tensioner to crankcase/timing case cover

Install in the reverse order.

Check and correct engine oil level.


