Remove/install

Remove camshaft housing.

Mark roller-type rocker arms (2) and hydraulic valve play compensation elements (4) relative to the cylinder head.

When reusing roller-type rocker arms (2) and hydraulic valve play compensation elements (4).


When reusing roller-type rocker arms (2) and hydraulic valve play compensation elements (4), install them in the same place as before.
Engine damage can occur otherwise.

Remove roller-type rocker arms (2) with hydraulic valve play compensation elements (4).



Specified engine oils (service) - Overview

 Installation: Wet roller-type rocker arms (2) and hydraulic valve play compensation elements (4) with engine oil.

Remove clamps (3) and remove hydraulic valve play compensation elements (4) from roller-type rocker arms (2).



Check

Check hydraulic valve play compensation elements (4).
