Remove/install

Remove respective camshafts.

Camshafts of left cylinder bank

Camshafts of right cylinder bank

Mark roller-type rocker arms (1) and valve clearance compensating elements (2) relative to the respective cylinder.

When reusing the roller-type rocker arms (1) and valve clearance compensating elements (2).


When reusing the roller-type rocker arms (1) and valve clearance compensating elements (2), they must be installed in the original installation location.
Engine damage will occur otherwise.

Remove roller-type rocker arms (1) and valve clearance compensating elements (2) from the cylinder head.

Remove valve clearance compensating elements (2) from roller-type rocker arms (1)

Install in the reverse order
